Mermaids CDC (PADI Career Development Center) feel that with the 10th anniversary of the conception of the all-inclusive dive training programs at the beginning of 2009 it’s a good time to showcase the dive internships abroad. The Dive Show Birmingham 2008 is at the Birmingham NEC, UK on November 1st and 2nd 2008 will be the first venue.

An exhibition stand in both the main area of the dive shows exhibition hall and the PADI village will be held for ease for you to be able to find us. Mermaids hold the excellent standing of Career Development Center with PADI and thought it a good idea to present ourselves there also.

Twice per year the UK Dive Show opens the delights of the world not just to Brits (like myself) but interested non-divers and divers alike from all over the world. The dive industry is a very social place to be and many will travel to see old buddies and purely for the society involved. There are going to be over 320 exhibitors from over 50 countries showcasing diving services and diver training from all over the world allowing something for everyone’s taste. Mermaids have many friendly scuba dive centers the world over that have or currently are using staff from our training programs. We’re looking forward to catching up with a lot of divers that trained at Mermaids and now working professionally in the scuba diving industry.

Mermaids celebrates all new Instructors with dinner and festivities as usual on November 9th 2008

Due to His Majesty King of Thailand Sisters’ Memorial Day, we reshedule Mermaids Dive Center BBQ to November 22.

Help clean up the local environment by joining Mermaids Dive Center on the 21st November 2008 for our scheduled monthly beach and underwater clean ups at the Near Islands. Prices are 2990 for 2 dives and 1000 baht for a snorkeler or passenger

Come and join Mermaids and all her divers on an evening of relaxation and chill out, with BBQ (our grill master “Crazy Russian Vlad” ) who will cook all the meats for us. Bring your own bottles and just hang out with us. This is happening on November 22th 2009 at Mermaids Dive Center Jomtien.
