Congratulations to PADI Instructors Mike Porteous, Stefan Cole, John Chambers, Wayne McKelvey, Andy “Joycey” Joyce, Shelley Slatkin, Andrew Fielder and Darren Shuttleworth.
We welcomed back Mike who had done his DM internships with Mermaids and decided to come back to take part in the IDC and the wonderful Wayne who is just plain amazing. Both Stefan and John joined Mermaids in September 2008 as certified divers and our lovely Shelley, the only female on this IDC from Las Vegas along with Andrew in November 2008. Darren arrived in true bling style in December 2008 and Joycey… did anyone mention the Easter Bunny is back again!
Darren has continued on to complete MSDT, IDC staff and IAHD Instructor with Mermaids and to the rest of the guys off on their travels around the world and to your great new jobs, keep in touch and thanks for taking part in all our activities including the International clean up and our regular monthly Project AWARE activities.
Following a successful IE, the guys celebrated with their friends and from the Mermaids Team, thanks for your time, the moments you gave us that we won’t forget and once again congratulations on becoming PADI OWSI’s. Another 100% pass rate for Mermaids.
