PADI IDC January 2009

Congratulations to PADI Instructors Andy Hale, Adam Goodier, Alex Hughes, Graeme Smart, Michelle Simpson, Jaco Hoffman and making this a very special IDC, we had “Team Singapore” joining us, also affectionately known as Jerome, Jerich and Seb

Andy joined Mermaids in September 2008, Adam in July 2008, Alex and Michelle in October 2008, Graeme returned back to us after some travelling and our South African Jaco in August 2008.

The majority of these guys took part in the International Clean up day in September 2008 as either photographers or cleaner uppers and in the case of Andy it was his first introduction to a huge Mermaids event. Michelle and Alex took part in Pattaya’s first bed race and to this whole group thanks guys you all took part in all our activities and made them so enjoyable and fun.

Andy has continued on to complete MSDT, IDC Staff and IAHD Instructor, whilst the rest of the guys have gone off to jobs in Cyprus, Australia and travelling around the world. Team Singapore went back home and we are all looking forward to seeing you guys again and you can expect many visitors.

Congratulations to the 3 C’s – Charlie Oxley, Cameron Alderton and Chris Pierce for completing their IDC Staff Course with Mermaids. All 3 of them have gone off to work in Phi Phi and the States.

Following a successful IE, the guys celebrated with their friends and from the Mermaids Team, thanks for your time, the dedication and the commitment and once again congratulations on becoming PADI OWSI’s. 100% pass rate for this IE.
