November 2017 Newsletter

As we are nearing the end of our trips and events for 2017, the November Koh Chang Wreck Lovers Weekend turned out to be the perfect early diving Christmas present. We got to hang out with a very friendly Whale Shark on our last day of diving on the HTMS Chang as well as a whole host of marine life.

The next Koh Chang trip is scheduled for February 2018, so keep an eye out for our new events calendar coming soon on our website and Facebook page. Try and book early as this is our most popular trip. You’ve got 2 nights and 6 dives included in the price – with all the arrangements made by us.

Here’s some special moments from the Weekend featuring the Whale Shark and lots of very happy divers.

The Mermaids Maldives Liveaboard trip is up next on the 9th December 2017 and we are looking to find Rays, Mantas, Sharks, Whale Sharks and a whole lot more unique marine life in this beautiful tropical location. The trip is fully booked, but we are looking forward to sharing some great sightings with you in our next newsletter and on our Facebook page.

Congratulations to Elias Carey and Rose Greenaway on becoming PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors with training by Mermaids CD Russell Martin. Well done to you both. Also Terry Wilkins became a Project Aware 100% Aware Partner and sat his CDTC Exams passing with flying colors. If you want to become a PADI Pro, contact us, we can show you the way.

The Annual Mermaids Xmas BBQ is on Saturday 23rd December 2017. Come and join us for diving on the Hardeep Shipwreck and beautiful coral sites down at Samaesan during the day and/or the evening food and drinks. BBQ starts at about 6pm. Remember non diver friends and family are more than welcome to join in and we are looking forward to seeing you soon.
