Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2019

We went back again on board Mermaids 4 to watch the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival. This time the weather conditions were perfect for Fireworks as back in May 2019 an unexpected storm happened.

This spectacular fireworks display consists of various countries doing their display from Central Pattaya Beach Road from 18:00pm onwards. The event took place on the 29th and 30th November 2019.

What is the Festival about?

This huge event has parades, live music, concerts, traditional dance and contemporary dance. The history behind it is to celebrate King Bhumibil Adulyadej birthday and his impressive reign as the King of Thailand.

Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is split over the two days where each country get a chance to give a short snippet of their firework show on the first day, but puts a full 45-minute performance the next day. We all think that the UAE won hands on on the display. But, they were all pretty impressive.

Thanks to everyone that joined us on board Mermaids 4 for the spectacular display and on board BBQ on Saturday 30th November. It was so much fun for all the kids and adults too. To see all the great photos from the evening, take a look here
